...en el caso de trabajadores mexicanos que hayan sido contratados por compañias extranjeras para laborar en forma temporal en el valle Imperial, aún cuando estos no tengan la calidad de inmigrantes con documentos de residencia permente en el país vecino, tendrán la facilidad de ingresar sus vehículos a territorio mexicano sin el requisito de importación, en tanto subsista el compromiso de trabajo en el lado americano."

... The administration of the Federal Secretariat of Revenue decided to grant certain privileges for the residents of the border region, that by the necessities of their work, must continually cross to the United States in their own automobile bearing American plates.

... in the case of Mexican workers that have been contracted by foreign companies to toil as temporary workers in the Imperial valley, even though they do not have the qualification of immigrants with documents of permanent residence in the neighboring country, will have permission to enter their vehicles into Mexican territory without the import requirement, in support of a commitment of work on the American side."
